La Tuiliere is in the commune of Cherves-Chatelars, in the department of Charente south west France.
Cherves Chatelars is a perfect location for picnics and wedding photos. It is a small village, surrounded by forests, and contains the ruins of a Cluniac priory and nearby there is a 12th century Romanesque church.
The moisture in the banks of the Bonniure provide ideal ground for wild buttercups, campanula, bluebells and wild lilies to thrive. There is a bar/restaurant in the village, which renowned for its good home cooking, with no frills, in an authentically rustic setting.
